The West University Place Parks and Recreation Department invited residents to share in the Christmas spirit at the 26^th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The evening was met with rain, but that did not stop the fun. Residents mingled with delicious hot drinks and sweet treats. Kids, including (pictured) Autumn and Danny Kimball, enjoyed a cookie-decorating station and craft table. The highlight of the evening for the kids waited in the courtyard of the community building: a real live reindeer “from The North Pole.”
