Happy Friday! Here are some upcoming events to check out this weekend and next week.

Celebrate Mardi Gras!
It’s that time of year again: Mardi Gras! You don’t have to spend hours in the car to celebrate, though – there are some exciting and fun options closer to home. Love Mardi Gras fun? Be sure to read about all of the fun – and hard work – that goes into the Krewe of Maximilian, a membership-only, nonprofit social club heavily involved in Galveston’s Mardi Gras celebrations and more.
