Paint it Red Charity Fashion Show
Ladies and gentlemen of Bellaire, the Leading Ladies presents to you a charity fashion show for American Heart Association powered by the work of high school students. There will be a kick-off party at Belvedere from 6-8 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 28 for young adults to give a sneak peek for the venue and vibe of this classy event as well as a book signing by JL Clark including a complementary book.
The designers this year, Chloe Kilponen, Michelle Le, Noelle Ogdee, Ines Fraiser, and Gillian Connelly found their inspirations within J.L. Clarks inciting novel Lilith Links in The Avalon Series. This novel takes the reader for an adventure through a fantasy world with colorful and lucid environments- each uniquely intriguing. Attend the Paint it Red Fashion Show on March 28 to witness the revealing of all of the incredible designs!
As a Houston-wide event that promotes literature, community service, and the American Heart Association, all of the designers are naturally very excited to be the heart of the show. The designers of Leading Ladies - a community service organization for high school ladies across Houston - are representing Bellaire High School, St. Thomas Episcopal, and Lamar High School sophomores and juniors. Here is what the designers have to say about the fashion show:
Noelle Ogdee: “It’s a great opportunity to help benefit a charity… I’m glad I can be a part of it.”
Ines Fraiser: “I hope to make JL Clark happy with my designs… Being a swimmer I chose the theme of water from the book!”
Michelle Le: “Fashion has always been a big part of my life… I volunteered to be a designer to benefit an organization as great sat h American Heart Association.”
