Back when I was just a pup, I lived with other dogs. I had many brothers and sisters, and life was good. One day people came and took me away from my family. I was brought to a new, strange place. At first, I was really scared. I tried to run away from those strange people every chance I got. After getting fed, played with and loved, I realized that I had a new family. They gave me a name, Bear, because of my white fur (like a polar bear). I loved to play fetch with my family and explored my new neighborhood every chance I got. Now I’m an old dog and don’t move nearly as fast. I can’t play fetch anymore, and I never go far from the house when I try to explore the neighborhood. But that’s okay because I get to rest my old bones in a fluffy, warm bed.
