Remember the Azalea Trail is March 6-8. Gayle Hightower and Mimi Prioleau, co-chairs for the 80^th annual Azalea Trail, want to welcome you to “Dig In and Celebrate Spring” – this year’s theme. House chairs Ginger Kelley, Patty McNiel, Beverly Schaeffer, Allison Bailey, Jane Bonham, Georga Harrison, Carla Dawson, Julia DeWalch, Julie Payne, Nancy Cooksey, Diana Hawkins and Janey Lee are gathering up volunteers for all the special details at the homes while Boo Kennedy, Suzanne Wooten, Giggy Thanheiser, Laura McDaniel and Camille Patton tend to various landscaping and grounds-management details. Sarah Eilers and Sandy Lucas are the flower captains, with a team of arrangers. Tickets ($5 each or $20 for all six gardens) can be purchased at each home or The Forum at 2503 Westheimer, local Randalls stores, Bering’s and other retail outlets.
