Spring Fling at Strake

Brand-new Lexus auctioned off at Spring Fling to support financial aid at Strake Jesuit.

Strake Jesuit College Preparatory recently hosted its annual Spring Fling. Spring Fling is a carnival consisting of activities ranging from cake walks and a crawfish boil to blackjack and a dunk booth, all toward raising money for financial aid.

This year, the festivities were held inside due to rain, but that did not stop the fun. Spring Fling also consisted of the raffling off a brand-new 2015 Lexus NX. Raffle tickets were sold by students in the months leading to Spring Fling. Students received days off as incentives to sell the raffle tickets.

Raising over $290,000, it was a success for everyone involved. The 2015 Spring Fling was a blast and the Strake Jesuit community patiently awaits all the fun in store for the 2016 Spring Fling next year!
