Pamper Mom in West U

This weekend is all about Mom. The city of West U Parks and Rec will host its 5th annual Mom’s Spa Day this Saturday at Colonial Park Pool to be pampered poolside with massages, facials, and more. The event takes place from 9-11 a.m. but feel free to keep enjoying the pool during the afternoon and evening. For info about registering for the event, call Parks and Rec at 713-662-7420. Family Safety Day in Bellaire

Join the City of Bellaire, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., for a day filled with fun, family-friendly activities centered on safety. The event includes health screenings from Houston Methodist Primary Care Group, info on hurricane preparedness, flood insurance, and city services. Kids will have a chance to participate in a Bicycle Rodeo to learn safe riding habits, there will be a demonstration of water safety in the pool, and many more activities for the whole family. Bellaire New Home Showcase

The 27th annual Bellaire New Home Showcase starts this weekend. The $10 admission benefits Evelyn’s Park Conservancy.
