Remembering Mom on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a joyous day for so many, but for some, who have recently – or not-so-recently – lost their mothers, it can be a tough time.

Today, we’re featuring “Remembering Mom,” an article originally published in our May 2009 issue, which includes Buzz residents sharing how they honor their moms and cope with grief on this holiday.

Excerpt: “I can tell you the day is often not easy.’ It has been decades since Dee Dee Dochen last said goodbye to her mother, Janet.
