Court champ
Andrew Sall (pictured), 13, won the USTA Katy ZAT Boys 14 Singles division. He is a seventh grader at River Oaks Baptist School, where he competes for the school’s combined seventh- and eighth-grade team. Andrew was among four players selected to represent the team at the competition, and the tournament win qualified him to advance to the championship level. Andrew began taking tennis lessons at age 6 and started competing in junior team tennis at age 10. He practices six to eight hours each week, depending on his other sports’ schedules. In addition to tennis, Andrew also plays basketball and runs cross country and track for his school.
