Hunters Creek Elementary students, including rising second graders Jake Campbell and Thomas Clark (pictured, from left, at the Houston Zoo this summer), head back to school this month. The school’s annual fundraiser, an auction, will take place Oct. 30, and Sept. 2 is the deadline to sign up to make a donation or be an underwriter. Chairs Denise Campbell, Ketti Collins and Jenny Robertson invite all gals, guys and ghouls of Hunters Creek Elementary for a Spooktacular night. The Forest Club will transform into a sophisticated spooky soirée. Tickets are $100 per person. There will be a silent and live auction, followed by dinner and dancing.
