The annual Southwest Airlines Freedom Over Texas celebration will take place on July 4 at Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou (along Allen Parkway). The celebration starts at 4 p.m. and will last until 10 p.m. Headliners are country performers Clint Black and Josh Turner. The event will also include a children’s entertainment area, beer garden and, of course, fireworks. See houstontx.gov/july4.
