The invitations read, “Let’s Celebrate Rick Staff. The Big Kahuna is turning 60 and is still surfing.” Vicky Staff’s hubby Rick’s surprise birthday party was held at Grappino di Nino and centered around his lifelong hobby of surfing. After a riptide dinner and live music on the patio, surfboard cookies made a splash. Cheering Rick were Cindy and Robert Blevins, Donelle and Hill Dishman, Linda and Trey Hoffman, Carla and  Mike Harrington, Susan and Bob Porter, Jo and Wally White, Dinah and Jeff Weems, Susan and Scott Deaner, Matt Staff, Stephanie Staff Dishman and Brett Dishman. It was swell!
