Three Bellaire High School graduates have signed up for the ultimate bike ride. Patrick Golden, Olivia Arena and Stephen Proler (pictured, from left), students at The University of Texas at Austin, along with 700 other riders, will take a bike ride across the country to fight cancer in the charity ride Texas 4000. They will depart from Austin and ride all the way to Anchorage, Alaska, over a 70-day period in summer 2016. See texas4000.org.
