Although Rebecca Putterman and Sam Silberman were married Nov. 22, 2014, they decided to have a honeymoon worth waiting for, and that happened this May. They will never forget their culinary experiences in Tokyo with raw shrimp and scallops and Hibiki, a highly rated Japanese whiskey. Thailand offered an experience in elephant ownership when they fed, bathed, swam with and hiked with “their” elephants at Patara Elephant Farm in Chiang Mai. A private boat took them to the island of Koh Samui where they kayaked, hiked and snorkeled to their hearts’ content and lived on the wild side with rented motorbikes. Parents of the couple, Nanette and Barry Putterman and Mary and Herb Silberman, are waiting to be invited over for a Thai meal now that the couple is back.
