Father’s Day concert
About 85 concert goers, including Cappie and Raymond Tavary, Jane Schoen, and Carolyn and Leo Sacchi, attended the annual Father’s Day concert at the West University Senior Center. The Houston Symphonic Band, featuring conductor Chuck Throckmorton, performs at the West U Community Building twice a year, so if you missed this one, there’s another chance to see it. You do not have to be a senior citizen to attend. The band is scheduled to appear at the West U community building on Dec. 13 at 2 p.m.
