The new Queensbury Theatre by Town and Country was revealed in a pre-“showoff” of its glamour to a variety of groups, arranged by Sue Shefman. The former Country Playhouse hosted a lunch and tour for 50 women. Artistic director and first president of the newly formed Queensbury Theatre Guild Bonnie Hewett and Randy West, executive director of the Queensbury Theatre, led the groups behind the scenes and presided over the slide presentation showing the 60-year history of the theater. A few of the many stars in the crowd were Harriet Lester, Alison Stewart and Sandie Parker. Guests enjoyed a light lunch and opportunity to purchase season tickets.
