Once in a blue moon

Area residents helped raise awareness for child abuse under a blue moon (an extra full moon) at the “Once in a Blue Moon” pool party at The Houstonian Club. The Thread Alliance and The Houstonian Club welcomed more than 500 supporters, who gazed up at the last blue moon until August 2018. The event brought in over $2,000 to benefit The Thread Alliance, a non-profit that works to prevent child abuse by increasing awareness and volunteerism in communities. See thethreadalliance.org.
