Hometown boy Tyler Duffey took to the pitcher's mound at Minute Maid Park Sunday in front of family and friends who rooted for him even if though he was pitching for the opposing team, the Twins, against Astros star Dallas Keuchel.
Tyler – who pitched for Bellaire High School and Rice University – had an excellent outing, going almost 7 innings and striking out 8 batters, walking one and allowing only 2 runs. The Twins’ bullpen didn’t have the best day, however, and the Twins ended up losing to the Astros 8-5.
