Bellaire New Home Showcase
The annual Bellaire Fall New Home Showcase continues this weekend! The showcase will take place Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Proceeds benefit Evelyn’s Park. See the details and check our Facebook and Twitter for ticket giveaways!
West U Full Moon Fest
Tonight, the third annual Full Moon Fest is planned to take place at Colonial Park. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with the unveiling of the first Little Free Library in West U, along with book readings, pumpkin decorating, face painting, carnival food and costume contest. After, Movies in the Park featuring Monsters University will be shown around 7 p.m. The City of West U announced on their website that in case of inclement weather, an abbreviated event will be moved indoors to the Multi-Purpose Room at Colonial Park. Texas Contemporary
If you love contemporary art, you’ll want to check out Texas Contemporary, which is taking place at George R. Brown Convention Center on Friday and Saturday. See the details.
BUMC’s Fall Fun Festival
Bellaire United Methodist Church is hosting its fall fun festival this Saturday, including games, baked goods, food, a garage sale, silent auction and more! According to their website, the festival is on, rain or shine. Call 713-666-2167.
Tanglewood’s Howl-o-Ween
The Tanglewood Garden Club is sponsoring Hall-O-Ween fun at Taglewood Park. This event includes a doggie costume contest, refreshments, prizes and more! See their website for weather-related updates.
Tents in Town
Camp out with family and friends this weekend, rain or shine! According to an email from the Tents in Town committee and Patron for Bellaire Parks, Tents in Town will happen no matter the weather. The backup plan is to move into the Bellaire Rec Center with lots of fun for everyone. See their site or call 713-661-7275 with questions.
