Volleyball is giving it their all this season. Varsity is ranked the #1 4A TAPPS team in Texas and the #2 ranked private school in all divisions. Varsity has defeated serval teams this season such as Duchesne, Incarnate Word, and St. Pius. They won all three sets against these teams.
On Wednesday, Oct. 14, JV and Varsity both won against Awty. JV won both sets with scores of 25-5 and 25-4. Varsity won all three sets with scores of 25-10, 25-11, and 25-12. Varsity is determined to win state this year after being a state semifinalist last year.
All of the cross country teams’ 5:30 a.m. practices have paid off this season! JV has gotten first place in four out of seven meets. JV has received a perfect score twice and is expecting another one at districts. In order to get a perfect score, you have to have the top five places. Getting a perfect score is a huge achievement in cross country.
Varsity has placed in either first or second in every meet except one. In their latest meet, Faith West Meet, they placed first. JV and Varsity are both looking strong and ready to crush districts, which is on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Bear Creek Park.
