Lunch raises $300K

Over 400 guests attended the Legacy Community Health 13^th annual luncheon at Houston’s Wortham Center. The champagne luncheon was chaired by Lucinda Loya and Monsour Taghdisi and raised over $300,000. This year’s Living Legacy Award recipient was HEB. Guests included Martha Turner, Glen Bauguss, Legacy’s CEO and executive director Katy Caldwell, chief development officer Chree Boydstun, Dee Dawson, Steven Hamilton, Tony Bradford, Phoebe Tudor, Sheridan Williams and board chair Bryan Hlavinka. All proceeds from this year’s luncheon benefit Legacy’s Little Readers, a program that integrates literacy into primary pediatric care.
