Bellaire High School volleyball

Fans of Bellaire High School’s volleyball team gathered at Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill for “spirit night” to raise money for the team. It’s already been a special year for the team, which finished in the top 20 of the prestigious Adidas Texas Volleyball Invitational. Early in the 2015 season, coach Gloria “Ap” Clarke celebrated her 500^th win at Bellaire. At the end of the first round of district play, the Cardinals were the only undefeated team at 8-0, with a 24-5 overall record. In district, Bellaire was on a 24-match win streak, dating back to the start of last season. The Cardinals have not lost a set in any of the 24 district matches; that’s 72-0 in set wins and a first in school history too. The team is raising funds to help with expenses during the playoffs.
