The Tel Aviv seashore greeted Liora and Jerry Cohen and Liora’s sister, Merchele Cohen, on their 18-day trip in Israel. From the traditional Namal (port), Carmel market and Baha’i Gardens in Haifa they saw a high-tech light show on the walls of the old city in Jerusalem. A day trip to Rosh HaNikra led them to a cable car to the grottos. A highlight was a dinner in Netanya on the Mediterranean at the home of Houston-based Miriam and Aaron Zigfrid. Liora and Merchele salsa danced when they heard Latin music at the town square of Netanya.
