Take one, leave one
Neighbors fell into fall at the Full Moon Fest, an annual event held at Colonial Park. Participants enjoyed pumpkin painting, activities, trick or treating and a costume contest. Activities included a ring toss, cookie decorating and face painting. Following the event was the movie in the park, Monsters University. At the fest, the Little Free Library had its unveiling of the first in a series of Little Free Libraries in West University Place. The LFL invites neighbors to take a book or leave a book. The first one is located at Colonial Park Pool at 4130 Byron, and more are planned to open in West U. Chris Cander (pictured), steward for the library who played a key role in the project, was there to participate in the celebration.
