Good clean fun
Both pooches and Porsches got clean at the Memorial Middle School car and dog wash, one of several fundraisers run by eighth graders. Held on a beautiful fall day, the car and dog wash was a huge success and had a great turnout. Pictured (from left) are Kirby Koster, Audrey Crawford and Claire Loud as they give puppy Camilla Waltz a bath. The car and dog wash is a one-time event, but additional fundraisers, such as donut and kolache sales, are other ways the students raise money throughout the school year in order to have a dance in the spring. The students will enjoy the fruits of their labor at the eighth-grade party when they graduate from middle school in 2016.
