Happily ever after

Ashley Anderson and Chip Cavanaugh were married at St. Michael Catholic Church. Guests celebrated afterward at the Houston Country Club. Chip and Ashley first met at the age of 6 as opponents on the West University Little League field, although their romance did not unfold until they started dating in 2012. The classic, black-tie wedding embraced the holidays. Florist Susie Miller turned the club into a winter wonderland with twinkle lights and white, cream and blush arrangements that complemented the greenery. Guests danced to the band Liquid Pleasure. In lieu of a groom’s cake, the guests enjoyed mini brandy freezes late in the night. The couple honeymooned in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. Proud parents are David and Gretchen Anderson and Steve and Debbie Cavanaugh. Wedding party members were bridesmaids Elizabeth Anderson, Holly Ashe, Kristen McDanald, Stephanie Massey, Lauren Allen, Caroline Cavanaugh, Stephanie Bailey, Elizabeth Holstien, Kate Vasseur, Sara Flynn Fletcher, Lauren Sykes and Anne Mangum, and groomsmen were Matt Cavanaugh, Mark Mathe, Thomas Walker, Nick Anderson, David Anderson and Connor Fee.
