Skylar

Hi. My name is Skylar. I am a Shetland Sheepdog (better known as a Sheltie). I was rescued, along with my three siblings, from a hot and dusty barn when I was 3 months old by a volunteer with Houston Sheltie Sanctuary. When my mom was fostering me, she fell in love and made me a permanent member of the family. I love taking walks and meeting new dogs and people. I also love riding in the car with my brother Sammy, who is a 10-year-old Sheltie. He is my favorite person in the whole world and a wonderful big brother. Every year we get to go to the Houston Dog Show to watch the Shelties performing agility. I’m so thankful for Houston Sheltie Sanctuary for finding a perfect home for me and for my siblings, whom I see every year at HSS picnics. See you around the neighborhood.
