Winter break is over and the St. Agnes track team is back at it. Last weekend they went to the Texas A&M Indoor Meet.

On the 4X800 meter relay were Maryella Cohn, Amber Boettiger, Emelia Bartusiak and Clair Scott (all juniors). They got 8th place with a time of 10 minutes and 26 seconds. Amber Boettiger placed 31st out of 122 people in the mile. She had a time of 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

Kirby Matocha, a senior, broke the school record with 5’5 ¾” in high jump, which got her 3rd place. Kirby is now 2nd in Texas and 15th in the nation. She is only ¼” from being 5th in the nation. It was an amazing way to start off the season!
