Congratulations to Ben Williams (pictured, with Emma Cohn), who was crowned the 2016 Mr. Bellaire at Bellaire High School. Highlights of the show, which featured 25 young men and women, included a signature performance of the Jingle Bells Rock dance, well-known from the movie Mean Girls, and a magic show by the winner. Lights, song and flashy costumes received laughter and applause. The popular show, which doubles as a fundraiser for senior class end-of-year activities, had a packed auditorium. Four students, including senior Erin Rice, served as emcees for the event. Senior Katelyn Christie said she “would definitely consider it one of her best moments” of senior year.
