Condit Elementary students, including Eva Hindmarch, Madeleine Luca, Isabella Sorenson, Catherine Xue and Lydia Huang (pictured, from left), enjoyed the school’s first International Festival. The event gave Condit’s students and their families an opportunity to share their heritages and learn about the ethnicities and traditions of their classmates. The events included a Parade of Nations, where students dressed in their ethnic clothes. They issued Condit Passports and were able to “visit” countries and learn about their government, customs, languages and religions. The majority of the events were managed by the students. Before the festival, students in every grade explored a country in detail and created artwork to display on campus.
