Memorial Drive Elementary third grader Cameron Ziegenhorn and Hunters Creek Elementary second grader Kenny Simpson (pictured, from left) are preparing for their first competitive tennis match. The boys have played for about two years at the Houston Racquet Club, and they are ready to take their love of tennis to the next level and begin competing. With their parents’ help, the boys researched area tournaments and registered for their first USTA Challenger tournament, in the 10-and-under division. Tennis runs in both the Ziegenhorn and Simpson families, and Cameron and Kenny have spent countless hours as spectators at their older siblings’ tournaments. Now it’s their turn.
