Eagle Scout Project in Memorial Villages
Vitaliy Williams, a Life Scout in Troop 641 at Chapelwood United Methodist Church and a freshman at School of the Woods High School, recently executed his Eagle Scout Project with the help of other scouts from Troop 641. His project included assembling two picnic tables and installing them on platforms constructed from sand and pavers.
The tables are located in two grassy areas in front of the Bunker Hill Village City Hall and the Memorial Villages Police Department. Vitaliy developed this project idea to support the Villages Police Department for all it has done for the community in ensuring our safety.
Boy Scout Troop was recently visited by Mayor Sylvester Turner. He commended the troop on its 65 years of accomplishments and proclaimed May 20 to be Troop 641 Day. Read more.
