Art Car Parade
This Saturday, hundreds of creative, wacky, funky, colorful cars, bikes, skaters and motorized objects will roll along Smith Street in Downtown Houston. The parade begins at 2 p.m. Grab your spot early, as this popular event fills up quickly. See more details.
Bellaire Trolley Run
The Bellaire Trolley Run on Saturday morning includes a 5K with a 1-mile fun run/walk, which begins in front of Bellaire City Hall. Runners can choose to urn for time or for fun, and neighbors can join for the post-race party immediately following in Bellaire Town Square. See more details.
Kolter Carnival
Head to Kolter for the Spring Carnival this Saturday afternoon. Admission is free and open to the community. The carnival includes food, games, prizes, a dunk booth, bounce houses and more. See more details.
Screen on the Green
Bring a blanket or lawn chair to Discovery Green on Saturday evening for a screening of Inside Out, starting at 8:30 p.m. See more details.
Run for the Rose
The 14th Annual Run for the Rose to raise awareness of brain cancer and benefiting The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital will take place this Sunday morning at NRG Park. Race-day activities include a Family 1k and a post-race party at NRG Arena. See more details.
