For over 30 years, the Cronin and Brauer Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic through its Operation San Jose project has traveled throughout Mexico and Central and South America to train medical professionals and equip them with supplies to perform medical procedures. Hostess Sylvia Brauer threw a fundraiser for the clinic in honor of her late husband, Dr. Raymond Brauer, who started the foundation, and thanked the underwriter, The Fresh Market, and supporters Tom Troegel, Ellen Marrus, Heidi Massin and Dana Pittsenberg.
