The 17th Annual Spirit of Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show benefiting The Children’s Assessment Center raised a record $430,000 for programs critical to the healing of child victims of sexual abuse. Event chairs Kelley Lubanko and Kelli Weinzierl applauded the Modern Love collection of Milly fashions from Neiman Marcus. Former Miss America Marilyn Van Derbur shared her story of triumph over tragedy as a childhood-incest survivor. In the crowd of 520 were Dominique Sachse (mistress of ceremonies), Stephen Lewis (auctioneer for the Chopard Boutique), John Weinzierl, Diane Caplan, Brady Crosswell, Tena Lundquist Faust, Megan Sutton-Reed, Stephen Lubanko, Ericka Bagwell, Ursaline Hamilton and Becca Cason Thrash.
