Memorial Day weekend was spent gliding over tree tops. Karen and Roland Garcia visited with former Houstonians Linda Gonzalez and Roland Rodriquez, who retired in Atenas, Costa Rica, on top of a mountain with a coffee plantation behind them. The couples soaked in the Tabacon Hot Springs and zip lined with wild creatures and toucans. At Playa Blanca beach, peacocks joined them for breakfast. It felt like home since the Garcias have their own peacock, named Baby Blue.
