Comicapalooza

Head to George R. Brown Convention Center this weekend for Comicapalooza, offer the best pop culture con in the southwest, which will include cosplay, a film festival, literary conference, maker fest, code fest, Mars Rover rides, video and tabletop gaming, and more. See more details.

Party on the Patio

Enjoy local band The Spinsations outside this evening on the Colonial Park Deck. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. See more details. 

Cool Nights at the Zoo

Again this summer, the Houston Zoo is staying open late on Friday evenings until 8:30 p.m. (last entry in at 7:30 p.m.) so you can enjoy the animals in the cooler evening weather. From 5-8 p.m., enjoy music and fun family activities. See more details.

Dads Day 5K

Celebrate Dad this year by joining the 5K run/walk on Saturday to increase awareness about prostate cancer and raise funds for local education and support. See more details. 

Barn Storm Dance Fest

The second annual Barnstorm Dance Fest, taking place at The Barn – Dance Source performing Arts Space, will feature works by 21 different dance makers across three unique programs. See more details.  

Father’s Day
