Love is in the air

At the recommendation of a mutual friend in 2013, Lyssa Burnham and Wesley “Wes” Howeth met each other over dinner at one of Wes’ favorite places, Jonathan’s The Rub. They found out they had dogs in common. Her trio of Maltese dogs, Maddie, Mollie and Moose, eventually got to meet his German Shepherd, Guinness. After two years of dating, on a trip to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Wes proposed in the sky 4,000 feet above the ground in a hot air balloon. She was floating on air. Parents whose head were in the clouds at the news were Donna Stehling and Douglas Burnham and Jack and Paula Howeth.
