The lunch bunch

The West University Community Building hosted the monthly theme meal in June, where everyone celebrated the Fourth of July a little early. Pictured getting into the spirit are Ann Hornbeak and Debbie Lokey. The NCL Chapter Post Oak Girls came to lend a helping hand by serving the seniors. As a sweet bonus, the NCL girls also bake cookies on Fridays for bingo. The next luncheon will be Aug. 30 at 11:30 a.m. The theme will be Hawaiian Luau. The cost is $5 and includes lunch, dessert, entertainment and a movie. Call 713-662-5895 to register.
