Dive-in Movie Night 2016
The 2016 Dive-in Movie Night at the Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center was a huge success. Kids and parents alike all enjoyed the night and everything that it had to offer, including lots of support from local businesses.
After all of the rain that we’ve had this week, it was nice to be able to enjoy the night with a nice breeze and clear skies. The featured movie was “Finding Nemo” and, during the screening, lifeguards were seen sporting glow sticks while patrolling the waters. Patrons for Bellaire Parks also handed out inflatable noodles so everyone could lounge around in the pool while enjoying the movie.
I had the opportunity to represent The Buzz Magazines along with Reagan Bisel, who’s also a School Buzz reporter for The Emery/Weiner School. We helped pass out popcorn to attendees.
“It was very fun to see some of the different local vendors and engage with the families while handing out popcorn and representing the Buzz Magazines,” Reagan said.
The night benefited Patrons for Bellaire Parks, with net proceeds going to Evelyn’s Park.
