Dexter, age 3

Hi! I’m Dexter. I was born in Austin on a farm, but I moved to Bellaire when I was 8 weeks old, and I love it. I have a lot of nicknames: Dexi, Dexturbance, Dexterminator, Dextroyer…. Most are vestiges of my chewy-puppy days. I am a good boy now, but the nicknames all stuck. My favorite activity is Frisbee; not to brag, but I am pretty good at it. On most evenings, you’ll find me walking my humans along the Newcastle path. I just got back from something called a “vacation” in Colorado. My humans Uber’d me there for 18 hours while I chilled in the back. I think vacation means Heaven because that is what Colorado seemed like to me – I especially enjoyed the extra-long walks called hikes. In this photo I am at the top of Shrine Pass, where I got to eat snow!
