Bayou Preservation Association supporters are saving the date for the third annual sanctioned Cypress Creek Regatta on Sept. 17. The 7.5-mile stretch of water surrounds participants with wildlife and scenic landscapes. The event is perfect for all levels. The event will raise funds to maintain and preserve Houston-area waterways and watersheds. See cypresscreekregatta.org or e­mail regatta@bayoucityadventures.org.
