Deltas doing good

Houston Tri Delta sorority alumnae will present their annual fundraiser, The Sale, a 2-day charity shopping event Jan. 7-8 at Bayou City Event Center benefiting Texas Children’s Cancer Center. More than 50 Houston boutiques will offer designer clothing, jewelry, shoes and accessories for women and men, along with gifts and home décor. The event kicks off with a champagne shopping preview on Jan. 7 with a musical performance from patients at Texas Children’s Cancer Center’s Purple Songs Can Fly program. The sale is open to general admission Jan. 7, 12-5 p.m., and Jan. 8, 12-4 p.m. General-admission tickets are $30 at the door. Event co-chairs are Laura Winn Williams and Tracy Dillee McCleary.
