Troy was in town
Mike and Carol Linn, Troy Aikman, and DeeDee and Wallis Marsh (pictured, from left) mingled at the River Oaks Country Club for a fundraiser for children. The event was the fourth annual Touchdown for TEACH event, and it drew in more than 480 guests. Chairs and tables were wall to wall in the ballroom. Special guest Aikman had supporters applauding. TEACH co-founders Susan D. Sarofim and Mary Yenik were cheering the record-breaking $700,000 for the program, which gives educators in low-income schools strategies for conflict resolution. The organization will get the entire amount raised, thanks to Fayez Sarofim, who underwrote the entire event.
