Volleyball-season success

The Emery/Weiner School eighth-grade blue volleyball team (pictured) finished the season as runner-up in the Greater Houston Athletic Conference. Last year, they won the GHAC championship as seventh graders and returned for another strong season this year. A highlight of this season was their third-place finish in the Fort Bend Christian Academy tournament, where they defeated Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, River Oaks Baptist School and Trafton Academy.
