Marty, age 3

Hi. I’m Martin St. Churchtree, or Marty for short. My buddy, Stormy, wrote about her beginnings in the November 2016 issue of The Buzz, so I thought I’d give it a try. I was born in – okay, found in – a tree as a kitten by my humans on their way to St. Martin’s, hence the name. Officer Kennedy nicely climbed up to help me down, and my adventure began. I’m a Tanglewood cat through and through. My humans are pretty great. They keep the kibble bowl full, cubed turkey cuts twice a day and catnip, treats and TUNA on special occasions, like a Longhorn win! My best friend is a dog. When we first met I had to stay in my own suite so that he didn’t try to eat me. He learned that I was better as a friend than as food. I still love trees, as you can see by my photo.
