Wedding bells will soon ring for childhood friends Allison Cohen and Jeff Soffer (pictured). They originally met at Camp Blue Star in North Carolina when they were 10 years old. They reconnected in September 2015 when Allison was visiting NYC, where Jeff was attending business school at New York University. They saw each other for the first time in almost 20 years and caught up over lunch. They stayed in touch on Facebook and by text, but didn't start dating until July 2016 when Jeff was in Denver (where Allison works as a dentist). They traveled to New Zealand together in January 2017, where they road-tripped throughout the north and south islands, trying not to miss any wineries. Jeff popped the question this past March. He decorated Allison’s apartment like camp with candles, rose petals and pictures of Blue Star. The next morning, a limo pulled up to Allison's apartment with their families inside (she had no idea any of them were in Denver). They are planning to marry in Florida in early 2018.
