The right chord

Recently, a group of Bellaire High School guitar students competed at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest at Tompkins High School in Katy. This is the first year Bellaire had so many competitors on their team that two guitar judges were required. The students won 13 solo gold medals, 16 ensemble gold medals, 15 solo silver medals, 18 ensemble silver medals and 19 solo bronze medals. Gold medalists will compete at The University of Texas at Austin this month at the state contest.
