Mommy Moments: End of School for Toddlers
This week marks the end of school for some (next week for others). My kids’ last day is today so we’ll be starting our summer next week. They will participate in a summer camp at their school but it doesn’t start until June. I have loved watching them blossom and grow this past school year. I am already planning ideas for the time in between the school year and summer.
I know I’m not the only parent wondering how I’ll keep two toddlers busy.
Claire Herod (who turns 3 in July) had her last day of Mother’s Day Out (MDO) today at Chapelwood UMC preschool.
Claire’s mom, Lindsey, snapped some photos of her before her first day of school and today, on her last day. “Claire grew so much this past year,” said Lindsey. “Her vocabulary and sentences exploded, she made new friends, and so many memories that she recounts often.
Lindsey said they’ll be filling up their summer calendar with swim lessons and lots of fun at the pool and playing with her [new twin] baby brother and sister. She’ll also attend the summer session at Mother’s Day Out.
What are your summer plans?
