City-wide champs
The Pin Oak Middle School baseball team (pictured) defended its city-wide championship title with an 11-2 win over Lanier Middle School. The Chargers finished the season 13-1. Solid pitching performances by Zach Nguyen and Wilson Woodcox, along with an outstanding 12 hits in 4 innings by Noah Beinart, Zach Nguyen, Parker Smith, Austin Courtney, Reece Tiras, Ben Finley and Kat Kelley, led the Chargers to victory.
